A self-professed “idiot” Seema realised that when weird stuff keeps happening to you, you might as well mine it for laughs. An attitude that got her to the semi finals of the 2025 Berlin New Standup Awards. Seema is always looking for the punchline no matter how bleak the topic, from the rise of AI, toxic dating patterns, or the struggles of modern life, she’ll find a sketch, absurd story or blog post that manages to find the laughter and in it a little hope for the future too.
